SUNMOTOR MODEL M3 M10 and M20 FLOATING SOLAR PUMPS are designed to pump from surface-water sources, such as ponds, dams and streams. They can be run continuously, and are simple to install. They are self-priming, long lasting, and can pump silty water without a filter. These pumps are commonly used to water livestock without letting them walk in the water source.

Sunmotor M3 Pump

The M3 pumps 2 gallons per minute to a maximum head of 23 feet above the source. At ten feet of head, it will pump 5 gallons per minute. It can easily supply more than 200 gallons in one hour of full sun with just one 75 watt solar module. The complete kit comes with a pump, float, screen, 50 feet of cable, 24 feet of discharge hose and 100 feet of safety rope. Order a 75 watt solar module and pole-mount to complete the system.

Sunmotor M10 and M20 Pump Kits

These are larger versions of the M3. They are ideal for a wide range of remote pumping applications, including livestock watering, landscaping, wetlands development, stream protection and aeration. As shown in the chart, the M10 can pump 10 GPM at 30 feet of lift, with a maximum lift of 65 feet. The M20 can pump 20 GPM at 20 feet of lift, with a maximum lift of 35 feet. Both operate on 300 to 400 watts of power at 30 volts. Use four 75 watt or larger modules. Wire and pipe is not included with the M10 and M20 pumps.
